That's the only partially true thing here. Enemy variety vs how big levels and zones are is quite poor. Even DLCs didn't add that much. I still remember going through the forest as my first campaign and it was all rolling ball enemies everywhere with a sprinkle of flying things that are annoying to hit. Starting class was templar so extra painful.
Final boss is kino btw, top fav of all time.
