DS is one of the most engaging and addicting games to come out in decades. ADHD zoom zooms getting filtered by the tutorial alone makes it even better.

yes, in the first 60 seconds.
this was the most "fresh" feeling game i played in the last 20 years, i actually felt like im playing something *NEW* i never played before.
it hooked my in immidiately, and didnt let go until the game ended.

i can remember 1 (ONE) other game that did this for me: it was Planescape Torment, 20 years ago.

I pirated it, a couple hours in and I really don't get it. Seems like a walking sim where your goal is to see celebrities.

It starts off as a USPS simulator where rain, sleet, snow, or hail you will deliver their mail.
Midgame you're a UPS driver who still has to go off the beaten path to deliver stuff.
Endgame you are an Amazon delivery driver utilizing their autonomous services to deliver everyone's mail via drones, ziplines, and established roadwork.

It's a game about optimizing the deliveries and difficulty out of it so you can get Legend of Legends (of Legends) ranks.

At least with that shortcut it's super easy and quick to reach him. It's harder with a truck because you have to boost correctly or the packages take damage/you slide down but with a bike it's a 100% easy trip up there.

Tutorial island has one to reach Wind Farm, Musician, and the port. Mountain Knot has all of it mapped out with ziplines. Outside of those two you generally need to take a truck's worth of items somewhere with not enough time to do two or sometimes three zipline trips. This was also on pre-DC otherwise I'd be jump padding across the canyon from South Knot for some Timefall Farm requests.
