Here's mine:
Massively lowered i-frames on dodge/rolls, more focus on pacing, blocking and stamina management
Massively lowered maximum stamina, lowered stamina regeneration
More distinctive starting classes focusing on their niche (dex classes can for example parry like sekiro)
More varied move sets on weapons, remove the FP bar
Strong emphasis on dungeon crawling, less fantastical locales and more rundown fortresses and settlements (like they were prominent in Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 2)
More emphasis on the level itself being a challenge to overcome, to conquer. Less emphasis on anime bosses with epic choirs
Massively slowed down character and weapon swinging, I want to FEEL like I'm wearing heavy armor and trudging through uncharted territory. I want to feel tension when traversing a level.

Yeah they aren't doing any of that shit. They're going to do exactly what they've done for every release, which is make pretty much exactly the same game, but slightly harder.

I would LOVE if they focused more on dungeon crawling, or a real storyline, or added settlements with NPCs instead of another empty wasteland. Or really took any risks with the formula at all.

But why would they? Every release sells more than the last already.

-More of a realistic, believable world instead of those super-mario Jump&Run levels we got in Elden Ring.
-either a modernized UI and control sheme that lets me automize shit at the press of a button or bosses that give me time to breathe, no more of that "dying because the controls suck" shit.
-less visual clutter in boss fights
-better camera
-better challenges between boss-fights
-bring back real invasions, there needs to be a mechanic that gives you an advantage in PvE but also brings the risk of being sucked into PvP again, seriously why would you get rid of that?
-Endgame that lets you repeat bosses

I'd like to see them do away with a vitality and endurance stat altogether. Let us upgrade 5, 6, 7, or 8 other stats instead (whichever number they happen to choose idk) but then directly upgrading your health and stamina is done in a different way. I'd have it like Zelda where you can find upgrades to this within the world or even choose which you want to upgrade. Maybe it could even be with the boss Souls. Maybe even have the option for both including boss souls making special weapons again. So if you want that boss weapon that is fine but then you miss out on a health or stamina upgrade. Of course there would need to be a cap to both although not sure what I would set the cap to. As for the stats they can then be free to balance them out in an even better more unique sort of way. Just a thought here.

Das1 pose system
Less flashy boss and enemy movesets, you have to swing an ultra class weapon 4 times in order to see the enemy flinch or stagger. You can't stagger them with a slow heavy weapon in just one hit because how will you see this epic boss combo??
Heavy weapons need to flatten and fling enemies without charge attacks again.
No more boss gap closers that can reach you from any point in their arena. Elden ring dlc was really bad with this, there's no point to creating space for a slow attack/spell when the boss can just spin and flip from any range into your face.
No more arrow/bolt cap. You already have to pay or farm in ER's case for every use of a bow or crossbow. It should at least be 999 again so you can just use them as a weapon of choice like the old games.
No more stamina cost for spells. You already have to level attunement/mind for more casts, now you have to level endurance as well? It was especially galling in Das3 where you had to raise 3 stats to end up doing less damage than just mashing r1 with a straightsword.
Allow random solo invasions again and create covenants with rewards related to invasions. The current state of ruthless ER reds is because there's no one left doing it but the most bloodthirsty minmaxers. Removing tangible rewards and meaningful soul/rune rewards means you have less people doing it just to get something besides a kill. There would be more variety and less faggotry if people who would otherwise not touch the mode would have an incentive to do so.
Smaller levels. The scale of ER is impressive until you realize they really struggle filling it with actual content. Its especially bad in the dlc where you have beautiful areas like the flower coast with nothing but scraps of crafting materials and the same skeletons and shadow undead you've fought for 100 hours already. They even made a trailer of you fighting that dancer npc in the blue fields and instead shes a faded ghost in a basement.

A spiritual successor to Bloodborne (Gothic Dark Fantasy) that incorporates both Elden Ring's combat and Sekiro's deflections (and it's up to the player to choose whether to deplete the HP bar or the Posture bar). It must be a multi-plat, and it musn't be owned by Sony or Nintendo. I want something set within the baroque era, slightly before the victorian era but not as ancient as the medieval fantasy worlds of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. I'd love it if the game featured blood-drinking nobles and showed the corrupting effects of their vampirism, and some sickness that would emerge from their deprived practice.

I've been trying to get into these games and I've been playing Dark Souls 1 off and on for over a year. Is that bad to do? I feel like when I go back I can't remember what I'm supposed to do. I'm okayish at the game but could definitely stand to improve. My understanding of different stats is really limited and I pretty much stick exclusively to basic damage and armor. I've been told that you can make just about any build viable but I'm really unsure if I'm doing shit that's even coherent.

Agility was pretty op though, you could legit dodge anything in the game with ease using backsteps with like 12-16 agl. Never understood the hatred for having iframes tied to a stat.
