Legitimately though, RE7 on PSVR broke my scary bone I think. Once you're immersed in a moldy basement so real you can practically smell it, 2D gaming isn't going to do it anymore.

wrong. i was replaying SH2 a couple of weeks ago and even though i know for a fact i killed all the enemies in the apartments i was still very creeped out and uncomfortable because horror is about atmosphere and not having shitty controls, that is and has always been a midwit take
