Original is overrated and has God tier design so it's why you say that.

I wonder if OP actually likes RE4R. Either way, I don't see why making the same thread over and over has any new results. I think the remake is roughly on par with the OG. But let's say for argument's sake that Remake is objectively worse than the OG.

You're basically stating that the new team can make a subpar clone of a record-breaking game. A game that oftens sits near the top or at the top of the list. A game that started a whole new subgenre, and still reigns as the supreme king. Let alone how it broke sales records, slapped nintendo in the face, and pierced pop culture. If the remake can get in spitting difference, if the comparison can even be made - we should be so lucky that there's still that much talent left on Resident Evil.

I played it once start to finish and loved it. About a year later I gave it another go and was shocked how shit the controls are. Dunno how I put up with them for the 1st time.
