Hades 2 Ending Rewrite
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXmNvhqgIu8
Looks like SGG rewrote the ending like their lives depended on it lmao,
Chronos has a few new dialogues where he expresses bitterness over being rejected by his family, that he's made mistakes in the past but can no longer fix them, and that he wishes he knew Melinoe when she was younger.
There's multiple new mirror dialogues between Zag/Mel alongside expansions to existing ones. Zagreus brings up his hesitance to kill Chronos, which enrages Melinoe, and they argue at the ending of one run, before making up the next one. Zagreus says he understands Mel's viewpoint and Mel understands his, saying that she also just wishes she could have her family back and that they both know they're doing the best they can to fix things.
Hecate also senses Mel's growing hesitance and urges her to convince Zagreus by any means she can, to which Mel says "I won't deceive my own brother." There's multiple new dialogues between them where Hecate urges Melinoe to not stray from her task and grows frustrated with her. Melinoe also grows more questioning of whether she really knows that killing Chronos is for the best, what will happen after they kill Time, and if she shouldn't be thinking more for herself.
Near the final run, Melinoe asks that Zagreus attempt to spare Chronos first and then kill him if he won't comply. Zagreus is surprised, but agrees with her. We get the usual good timeline memories with hide & seek, but there's also several new images (including Hades 1 cameos) of Mel & Chronos's good life together. The *entire* family, including Mel, gets the good timeline memories now, and Mel decides for herself to spare Chronos in the present once he's redeemed.
