because you actually have to give players reasons to go out and explore the open world
the only game that does this right is minecraft because there are reasons to explore biomes and shit and its a fun game to get lost in
Zelda can't afford to do that because at the end of the day, you have to stop Ganon and everything they give you has to help that cause so they end up breaking things or objectives into pieces you have to find
