>on top of FIXING all the Ubishit cancers out there.
Fixing them... by incorporating them into the game? That doesn't make any sense, sorry.
BotW has it all: Ubislop towers, pointless collectables, "omg u can climb anything" and a massive fuck-off world with barely anything in it except trash mobs and useless collectibles. All of the problems, not a fix in sight.
>but I can make food with those useless collectibles
Cool, you won't. It's not optimal to use most of the ingredients and you'll rapidly end up collecting more of everything than you need, rendering most of the exploration and combat pointless beyond collecting more weapons and shields that will break, which is again pointless because the best versions of those things have set spawn points (Hylian Shield, best weapons) and there's no point in collecting the junk ones that are all over the place once you have access to the good ones. The "exploration" is meaningless after the first few hours.
>but you need tons of monster parts and random clutter to get the best upgrades!
For what purpose? Just for the sake of it? You can beat the main game easily with just the first tier of upgrades which are all cheap and made of really common parts. Hell, you can beat it without upgrading at all if you're skilled enough.
>but the monsters change color and get more HP and damage
... who cares? They have the same kits. You've already fought and beaten them all before.
This game is a giant sandbox designed to waste your time. 95% of the game is optional content and 90% of that optional content is mundane and repetitive. And that's by design. And the more you engage with it, the easier it gets, also by design, so you're ruining the bosses and final boss for yourself just by playing the game.
>but I'm having fun! I love doing infinite mindless repetitive tasks!
I'm jealous of how simple some of you are.
