I stopped liking them too, for a while, when you reach your forties you kind of start to enjoy them again, albeit not as much as you did when you were a teenager.

Im 35 and never really stopped. But I do bounce from game to game more often and it really needs to hit the spot for me to actually finish a game

Never understood the point of this movie. If I was Padrick, I would have left Colm alone. Matter of fact if someone tells you to leave them alone, you do just that unless you are retarded.

Also OP, you are here forever.

As addictive as it may be, take a break for a while from it, take up another hobby. I feel you can enjoy video games more when you seldom play them. You’re still pretty young, I’m sure your body hasn’t failed you yet, take up more perambulation and find beauty in wherever you live, even if it’s a shithole. Or try reading about something that interests you; or if you still want to play games try something from a genre that you’ve never tried before, who knows you might enjoy it.

I dont know what makes you think I dont do anything else besides playing games but I agree, people should have diverse hobbies

Nothing wrong with this. Most games are very poorly paced/written anyway. It's a serious issue with games. Good example is Remnant II. I don't know how anyone gets into that. The introduction is abysmal and it's at least 2 hours of nonstop bullshit.

Maybe I worded it wrong then, I’m not implying you don’t have hobbies, I just mean that taking up something new (including a new genre of game maybe?) on top of whatever else you do might help with your jadedness when it comes to video games, it helped in my case anyway, though I just stopped for a while on account of being occupied by other things. Some lovely country in Ireland by the way, I was in county Wexford a few years ago; I often visit anyway, considering I have a lot of family there, but I’d love to go back at some point. Don’t understand a word the locals are saying half the time though…

Though given the image you’ve attached, maybe I won’t after all, since the locals probably don’t even speak English anymore and stink of shit.

There were like 20 people in the village. You can't really leave that person alone. Sure he had some fairly strong opinions on not being friends anymore.
>Wants to work on music
>Looking for more in life
>Holding each other back
But it is fucked up to be friends with someone for years and then just decide a pedophile (the cop) is worth hanging out more than you.

The fact that you lament their lack of English skills as opposed to Irish is amusing to me

Are there only a few counties left in which the majority of its denizens speak Irish?

It seems to me like the whole world tries to push that idea as you grow older, become more mature and get more reponsibilities you're expected to fall in love with story rich cinematic games with very easy difficulty option.

While for me it's the opposite.
32, have my own place and a job and I drop games that try to drown me in exposition and characters within the first 30 minutes of the game. I want gameplay and I want it now and it better try to force me to master mechanics and provide me with a balanced challenge. Otherwise I'm uninstalling your trauma dump "cinematic experience" without giving it a chance.
If average "mature adult gamer" has no time for challenge and gameplay in his vidya because they're too busy with being "mature adults" then I don't have time for your terrible attempts at holywood imitation.

I was asking out of mere curiosity, like “oh well it’s fascinating that there are still places that still adhere to their indigenous lexicon, still sad that’s the majority have been so thoroughly deracinated” Don’t be so fucking miserable about it.
