But other big projects at Bamco (the Tales gacha was one of them actually, also that MMO that I think never left Asia, also that mecha JRPG Nier Automata knockoff) did flop and the entire company is downscaling and generally avoiding big projects for now

That's all it had. Combat is garbage and a downgrade in comparison to Destiny R, Graces F, Xillia 2, Hearts R, etc.

Tales of Symphonia is absolute KINO and very likeable characters and good twists and quite a good story. The only shitty stuff is the dated combat and graphics... lol it's literally the COMPLETE opposite of Arise's pros and cons.

Also i have a soft spot for Phantasia... the music is very nice and characters are likeable, but again dated graphics and combat. There is NO perfect Tales games in every departments.

Save transfer only got you plush attachments for characters on PS3. Those attachments are already included in Remastered, along the previously paid DLC costumes.

i have only played: Xillia, Vesperia, Zest, Arise. All decent but slightly mid games. I played Zest recently because i thought the protagonists were homos.
