when the borders are open and everyone can do anything, you're going to have the same thing that happens in literally every other game to open this floodgate in that 80% of your plebeians now wear the same "universally cool" armor and turn into a giant blob of clones

ultimately this doesn't matter because anyone still playing XIV is only there because of glamourer and mods so noone actually looks like their vanilla character (nothingburger all in all)
