What is the big deal about Halo? The premise is so bland. It's done some things right but as far as setting and aesthetic it's very uninspired.

it had a great blend of indoor and outdoor sections, the vehicles felt good to drive, the dedicated grenade button was a bit of a gamechanger on consoles. it's just a solid, fun game

Goldeneye at least innovated and pushed tech forward. Gaylo was slow, uninspiring and boring as fuck trash day-1 compared to the contemporaries.
