The most scared I ever remember being while playing a video game was when I was twelve years old playing Halo CE. I did a 180 and came face to face with a sneaky flood combat form and I jumped and paused the game. I remember also being pretty unnerved by the animations and screams of marines being turned into flood in Halo 2 and 3. Ravenholm in HL2 creeped me out. I think these games just got me at the right age, because once I hit my late teens and started playing real horror games none of them ever really scared me, I just enjoyed them for the aesthetics.

I dont like gacha either but ever since the CSGO thing, I know theres a demographic even worse than them and now assume anyone sperging out about gachas are just the faggots who were involved in that shit.
I usually just lurk gacha threads to save the images.
Literally the only game I've been too scared to replay is Snatcher. I was fine playing through it the first time but I've had a few nightmares due to that game. The music, atmosphere and the appearance of the Snatchers makes it difficult for me to sleep if I think about it too much.
