The mech shooting was well designed for the most part. It's designed around chaining lock-ons for combos, which isn't anything like a standard TPS. Treasure hunting is literally just a collectathon with a radar. It's designed around you using the hints, you can take 3 hints and still get an A rank if you know what you're doing. You don't need to put down SA2 to compliment Heroes, I like both.

I like both too, but I think for both SA1 and SA2 the Sonic stages are so disparate in quality from the other characters' stages that it's simply jarring, and I'd rather they had simply put the time into making more Sonic stages.

I'd only agree for SA1, everyone that isn't Sonic is a proof of concept. For SA2, it's Tails's and Rouge's stages that aren't as polished since they were added later in development. I think Mad Space is fine, either way.
