Yama Tsukami is carried hard by its design. The only game where fighting it is tolerable is in FU. Fuck Dos and especially fuck Frontier for the Diva questline which makes you fight it 5x times

Personally I think instead of an AI partner we should just get two more of our own monsters. If you fuse a low cost power, speed, and tech move onto one monster you almost never need to bring anything else, with the extra slots you'd at least have incentive to keep your roster up to date.
