The only reason to play Umineko in the first place is being tricked into it by some retarded tranny lying online. That or being an oldfag that was around when it came out, when r07 hadn't proven yet he was a stupid incompetent hack, and hoped the next chapter would unfuck the absolute shitfest trainwreck the story was devolving into after the ghostwriter buttbudy died.
In both cases, knowing how absolutely garbage Umineko turned out to be will prevent anyone with a brain from replaying it.

I started playing it a few weeks ago after really enjoying Higurashi.
I'm about 3/4 through chapter 2 of Umineko and honestly it has been a slog.
I'm hoping it picks up but so far it has none of what made Higurashi good
