Yeah it's called chasing the dragon. I can play certain games and understand why people enjoy them on an objective level, but it rarely goes deeper than that. The natural loss of imagination and whimsy that comes with growing up, along with the complete stagnation of the gaming industry will do that.

Only thing close is going back to old games for me. Even then after a few hours I know I'm wasting time. Most recent was Lost in Shadows on Wii. It was jank kino filled with SOUL.
