I am not going into the circle jerk of >muh IQ. Because I think Dota is the more complex game and I am saying this as LoL player, who peaked near challenger a few seasons.
I personally think it is harder to be a mechanical pro than becoming a pro on a knowledge basis, even though pro-players have exceptional understanding of the game.
I just think the dude is straight up goated and was basically the blue print for what league should be played.
He basically is prodigy that was so advanced to the rest of the scene, he kinda lived 3-5 years into the future compared to the rest of playerbase.
Now you might have younger player, that might be even better mechanical than him.
But that doesn't matter because he has a gazillion games, so he can simply outsmart people on a macro level and he probably doesn't even need to think about it.
He simply runs on intution since the last 5 years and no one can touch him in that regard.
He has more games as pro than like 90% of the champions in the game.
When he was young he would just murder people on micro alone.
There was no need for thinking because he was a better laner than anyone else in the world, so he would just rape everyone that is not a top 3 korean.
Nowadays he simply runs on his instinct and it is less on mechanical talent.
I am not an american, but I guess he kinda is like Tom Brady, there were QBs with a better arm or athleticism.
But that doesn't matter if you always make the right decision in a second.
