Okay so why do Steamoids play some games but not others? Nearly 50% is an achievement in its own right, as I've seen games with single digits in terms of completion.

Is there something about the Mafia remake specifically? I think it's good but I've also seen good games fall into the 10% category. I don't know, I can't help but feel confused about this one.

Fact of the matter is that entire library of unplayed games still cost less than one or two snoybox games, and as soon as they hit retirement they will have hundreds of games to fall back on, which can be played on any computer

The more popular a game, the lower it's completion rate. BG3 is an objectively great game, I have 80 hours in it, never finished the fucker, lmao.
If a game sold a million copies, there's gonna be COUNTLESS people who never get around to it, people who die IRL before they finish, people who start it and realize it's not their jam, people (like me with BG3) who play a ton, but just never finish and eventually stop, people who exclusively play in offline mode with no achievements, people who got it gifted and are not actually interested. A thousand reasons why someone doesn't finish their game. And like I said. The more popular a game, the lower the clear number.
