The worst offence in Starfield is that it can't go on for 5 minutes without utterly destroying your immersion. It just can't do it. Feels like a fake game. All window dressing and no substance. And no, mods can't fix it. Modders even gave up last time I looked.
And yes, I played it. Fuck you Todd. Fire Emil already.

I can't take this game seriously. If you're incapable of creating a world that I can immerse myself in with a true sense of scale, I'm not interested.
See, even with Skyrim despite the small scale, you can still get immersed in the world and it can feel much larger than it actually is. You don't have that in Saarfield.
