This guy is literally me. I played the RDR2 story mode 5 times and I'm considering doing a 6th. Advice?

I only have one question: How many games are in your backlog?

I did 100% on that. Plus finished the story like 5 times too. (Played it on my Xbox 360 during its launch.)

My dad used to do this for Tomb Raider The Last Revelation and Red Alert.
I do it for Quake

None really. 9 out of 10 games I play, I get bored with and never touch again. But when I find a good game I play it non-stop. I must have 1000 hours in each of these games, RDR1/2, GTA4, Fallout NV, Stardew Valley, Crusader Kings, Factorio, World of Warcraft.

I'm the same. I got hooked on Factorio and came buckets when they released the Space Age expansion. My only other autism outlet is OSRS

The first time I played Factorio in 2016, I was tripping on acid. For some reason I got giga addicted, and for the next 2 months I must've played it 12 hours for every single day.

>Factorio
I'm fucking garbage at it, only slightly autistic and stubbornly play it the slow way without shortcuts or any skilled techniques. I've still got 500 hours on the thing.

Play something else retard. I think I've spent like 250 hours on RDR2 and like 150 of those hours were just spent hunting, fishing, foraging, and studying animals and doing side quest bullshit like stranger and freaks and finding all the cave paintings, and treasures. I think I still need to do all the dinosaur bones and cigarette cards but I haven't played RDR2 in 2-3 years...definitely overdue for a playthrough.

It's a mental illness. I love that goddamn game to death and it's a short linear game, so nowhere near the autism of replaying 50+ hour games over and over. But I could literally write the script and each scene from memory at this point.

I want to show my dad RDR2 because he loves westerns but he's oddly sensitive to violence and gore in movies, and my mom is even worse.
Anonymous No.724891889 [Report]
There's nothing wrong with replaying a game of you feel like you're getting something out of it.
If not, maybe try similar things, like western movies and books if you really like the setting.

become an hero

Yeah it's weird. He likes when the main character is heroic and only shoots when necessary. I think he just mainly likes horses and the outdoors.
In the shows he watches people clutch their chest and fall over, they don't lose limbs and gush out blood.
