It's a short story from a collection of short horror stories for children that traumatized me in the 2000s. It's about an asshole kid who gets sold ice cream from a monkey's-paw food cart that does the opposite of what it's called, and the ice cream he buys is called SMART ICE CREAM - FOR SMART ALECKS, so the twist is that it makes him stupid and the final paragraph is typed in caveman speak. I tried to tell some hypno peeps about it over the years, and the consistent theme is that IQ loss dummy-pills types find it unironically super hot, which just makes me wanna drink bleach.

Horror portrayals of hypnosis never work for me, even slotted into an actual sexy atmosphere. I never liked the hypnosis plot in that one Fear Street book, or in The Horror At Camp Jellyjam, and Don't Go To Sleep especially made me feel uncomfortable.
