The pros of SDT are obvious.

Second Life has a similar problem where the characters do not react and the text does not match the positions, it's all a giant sandbox without any mechanics.
Then comes the problem of mechanics getting in the way such as moaning at the wrong times in the wrong ways because people did not program their avatars themselves and have no ability to be automatic.
Staring at a blank faced avatar or an avatar that repurposes the same 2 expressions/animation cycles isn't very immersive and engaging.

They pissed her off enough that she removed all optimizations from the game so they crash and burn. She was a really good programmer who added stuff like custom voices you could change the pitch of to create your own unique character's moans.

Then I talked to an indie dev Russian chick that supposedly doesn't care for the money and does some minimum shit correctly which had 90% of the ideas I had, but it's exactly only 1 person working on an entire 3D game. The server runs on her PC and it's cheap cause there's no 300+ players and the code is optimized to eat your client's resources with the network code optimized from a third party.
She already thought of a bunch of ideas I also had, but once again unless you shove it down their throat and show it as a demo they give no shits to be unique and focus on the unique elements that might make your game stand out, they instead keep focusing on the immersion side and clothes customization and boob customization rather thinking deeply about unique mechanics and perspectives. If it's not in front of them they don't do it. If it's not proven they don't do it. If it requires thinking outside their expertise they don't do it.

Then I worked on another game. The guy worked 6 months on this game which was like babby's first 3D game, he wasn't a game maker in the least bit and was not really into porn at all. He only made a few puzzle games.
