What upcoming Switch releases are you excited for?

Dragon Quest VII, Octopath 0, Elliot, Kirby's Air Riders, Tomodachi Life, Rhythm Heaven, and Fire Emblem.

"Excited" is a strong word, but I'm curious to see how bad MP4 ends up being. Pretty obvious Nintendo is quietly sending it out to die, and I wonder how they could have possibly fucked it up that bad. By all rights it should be their flagship title for the holiday.

Just finished the post content for Kirby the forgotten Land game on the Switch 2. Game is great with tons of content. Going to start the DLC they released. Here's hoping we get a new Kirby platformer game next year.

Honestly just Tomodachi Life, I don't intend to get a S2 until maybe 2027. ZA was surprisingly fun but I still have too many trust issues with Gamefreak to buy one for Pokopia.

Prime 4 will probably be great but I'm a little turned off with all the hints that it's going to be open world sloppa.
Not too enthralled about Duskbloods since it's going to be PvP only but I can give it a try.

might grab RE9 on switch 2 as well and even if I have zero interest in playing the game I suspect the duskbloods is going to be very fun as an outside observer, fromdrones, snoys and pcjeets are all going to meltdown over it to various degrees

I don't own a switch and refuse to buy one until prices drop significantly or I can at least get games used for 35€.

It's the next obvious remake to pull in my opinion as it has been historically a system seller game and the resolution on 3DS was absolute garbage
even a lazy upscale (which is extremely likely with current lazy Nintendo) would easily sell gangbusters

I'm 100% serious when I say splatoon raiders is one of my most anticipated games ever

I fantasized about a single player splatoon spinoff for years and was disappointed when they revealed splatoon 3 instead but now I'm glad they kept the spinoff for switch 2, I adore splatoon gameplay but don't like the multiplayer and what little they've shown of the game makes my imagination run wild

they've shown the bare minimum, the mechanic shooting ink and swimming in ink but we also know you get some sort of robot companion that looks exactly like a submarine, which added to the settings implies there's underwater exploration

also the fact it's singleplayer means that they'll be able to push the already brilliant core mechanics further because they aren't shackled by multiplayer balance, can't wait to see what kind of movement the mechanic can pull off
