You'll probably never see this game get an "FPS boost" on Switch 2 despite the fact a large majority of people want it. Xenoblade games are more likely to get 60 FPS boosts before Astral Chain does, and it'll probably be another 6-12 months before that even happens, if it happens. Nintendo could always shill a Xenoblade "remaster" with "improved FPS" honestly, they should just do that with XBC2 considering it looked like a 3DS game. XBC3 didn't look much better but I enjoyed it way more.

Having paid full price on launch, I enjoyed it though it's definitely a unique experience, controls are kinda weird but definitely suggest taking some time to fuck around in the practice room. There are detective segments that involve tracking clues and you have the robo dog help. Also balancing ice cream.
