Combat is fine enough, though it's annoying to have to manually change loadouts to handle elemental enemies effectively.
As far as story, I wish they leaned more into the melancholy aspect a world where time has stopped coming to an end.
Lightning also felt completely out of character compared to 13 and even 13-2, and not for the story justification they gave.

Because FFXIII is not a game. It's just a con artist's attempt at shoehorning his shitty Mary-Sue waifu in a well-known franchise while siphoning money away from Squaresoft, which put them in the red and allowed Enix to buy them out.
