not exactly 'vania save for in spirit but I beat Chronicles of the Wolf last month, had a great time. Went on to Lecarde Chronicles 2 immediately after and it's also good but understandably rougher around the edges. I might just tell this final boss to go fuck itself though.

Didn't play any this Halloween but love me some Castlevania

Still trying to beat Haunted Castle (OG).

Replayed CV1 and 2.

I beat CotM for the first time. Everything about that game was awesome. The music, the snappy controls, the map and gameplay. It was perfect.
Started HoD. It's not as good. The controls are floaty, and the way you path through the castle is confusing. I made it to castle B. It's still awesome, but progress doesn't feel as meaningful as it did in CoTM.
