Is this true or NCR glazing? I've seen alot animations recently that show Power Armor basically job to Anti-Material rifles. I thought in lore they where supposed to be equivalent to tank plates and survive being shot by plasma guns and Gauss Rifles. Let alone 50. BMG which would be weaker than any of the future tech guns Fallout has.

Rangers are nothing more than a gary stu with magic rifles. They were created soley as a counter to power armored troops. >>725083485
Its NCR nut-hugging fanboys. Drones from our reality have a better chance at destroying PA, but even that isn't guaranteed if you happen to add something extra.

F4, for all its faults, does a very, very good job with power armor in terms of implementation, aesthetics, design, and immersion. I would even go so far as to say it's the best power armor implimentation in the entire fallout series.
For some baffling reason, the regular armor in the game is a hodgepodge of shit and toilet seats. None of it looks cool or functional.

When it starts doing things that aren't just a human assisted by power armor. Like having giant arms that move independently of the human's arms to use massive weapons like your picture.

Come on now, the Synth armor has always been a really poor example. It's quite literally in the name: it's not meant for humans to wear. It looks perfectly suitable when it's the Snyths wearing it. Yeah it sucks that it's marginally better than Combat Armor, but there's nothing the game has that's pushing you to wear Ye Old Gloves of Slightly Better Faggotry at the cost of /fa/ >>725084481
When it has a cockpit. There's a very thin line that appears when there's a seat but not much of an actual cockpit, and at that point it's more Powered Armour than Power Armor

Good question, honestly F4 does it best and it's a shame. I enjoy power armour like you wouldn't believe and the only way to stop the thirst is to paint small army men and imagining myself in those armours
