How the heck is that a bad thing?

Fr. Wish we could’ve sided with him since canonically he’s one, if not the strongest, daedra in the lore considering other Daedra's planes. The fact that the people who willingly joined him became immortal and command his troops is just another bonus, meanwhile all other daedra just fuck you over.

Because he stands between me and the throne.

Uhhhhhhh something something, order is stiffling and sterile and often forces a single unified idea onto people who disagree with it or whatevs

There is no such thing as order in the universe. Life only exists because of an endless cascade of random, chaotic events occurring over a period of billion of years, on a single planet that so far has been the only one shown to have the random, chaotic conditions to support life.

Because his order is merely cruelty. He's not building a society, he's tearing another society down to leave nothing behind, and massacring everyone that was once there.

>I wish I could have sided with the unthinking, uncaring automaton whose only goal is to eradicate life and leave a sterile empty wasteland in his wake
Crazy self-report.

>his order is described as bleak, colorless and without any soul or free will
>everything he has is one colored rocks
>relates to Sotha Sil, an autistic who could spent his life predicting things he couldn't stop, regretting everything he ever did, forced into a corner by several problems he had centuries to solve, and left behind feral and disastrous projects for others to deal with
I feel like Jyggalag's sense of order was defined well enough. Reduce everything to something simple and it's easy to have order. All the worthwhile things in life that makes you want order will just be done away with along with your desire for them.

No, you're fighting as Sheogorath's champion with promises of great power and rewards.
The reason the other daedra want to stop Jygalag is because he is too powerful and they gang up on him to nerf him.

We did. The ending of Shivering Isles breaks the cycle of him turning into Sheogorath, he's finally free. I'd like to think that Skyrim has far fewer daedra around because Jyggalag is waging a major war in Oblivion.

Anon, by the end you technically do.
Order is pretty much to chaos a counter force, and by the nature of what chaos is makes order a part of chaos.
The entropy force to an entropic force that ots just born to counter it.
With you becoming the new Mad god, you are also him, but also breaking the cycle of cognitive disfunction that is basically chaos eating its own tail.

To my recollection, the only prince you fight in Morrowind is Hircine, who's deliberately handicapping himself because he's a weirdo.

No, Hitler was just adding to the entropic forces that have led our world into even more dissolution and chaos.

I'll play Devil's advocate and this is as someone with very limited logic on the "lore" so I'm probably wrong about some things here.
But with Jyggalag, he was invading the Shivering Isles, which is Sheogorath's realm. Daedric Princes I believe are the most powerful in their own realms, so since he was invading a realm that technically isn't his (since he's no longer Sheo during that time) then he's not at peak power.
The main reason he steamrolled every Grey March was because the realm never had a Daedric Prince there to contest it, since Sheo would always turn into Jyggy, conquer, then return as Sheo and rebuild. This time, the player was able to mantle Sheo, becoming the new Prince of Madness and had the full backing of the Shivering Isles, which is why they were able to "slap" Jyggy and stop the Grey March for good. Now Jyggalag can remain as Jyggalag and fuck off somewhere else.
As for why New Sheogorath had an easier time beating Jyggalag than the other Daedric Princes did, is because I assume his Prisoner status and all the wacky paradoxical stuff that comes with that ontop of being a Daedric Prince now.

What the fuck do you mean sided with him? You did good for him, you separated his animus from Sheogoraths sphere, this is literally the best outcome for him because his Vestige is separate now and he will not turn into a reddit cheese man every decade.

Jyggalag all but thanks you for freeing him and acknowledges you as an equal.
