Forced kino. American Venom is pretty shit (the track and the mission), it plays out like a parody of itself.
Jim Milton rides again suffers from a crumb of forced kino too with John taking Arthur's hat instead of his own during the mission that's supposed to serve as shameless RDR fanservice, but otherwise fine.

There really wasn't any bad missions in RDR2. I mean think about it. Worse thing John does is help out the Mexican army kill "rebels" and then watch as daughters are stripped from their homes to be raped by the president because

And he has to firebomb a village. A church goes up in flames. You want to hate the world or RDR1. They really went out of their way to clean up how terrible society could really be for RDR2. Children killing their parents and becoming an incest couple absolutely pales in comparison to having an NPC tell you that the Mexican president tore open her father's chest, fed his still beating heart to dogs and then defiled two young girls immediately afterward. It's no wonder John hardly ever smiles in the first game.
I bet RDR3 will be even more sanitized. For some reason they won't use racial which is stupid. Mafia does it and it adds flavor to the story and character. Lincoln Clay being called a stupid fucking nigger as he's bleeding out with a bullet in his head feeds the drive to go through the story to see revenge enacted upon. No one being racist or sexist or threatening to rape is just so bizarre and anemic
