I think the RNG element of dispatching is the worst part of the entire thing. I've repeated the episodes a good few times, and had wildly different outcomes even when picking the most optimal characters for each job. This is especially the case when the Z-Team are sabotaging each other so you have to counteract it by sending characters solo to mitigate it as much as possible, so every success chance may as well be within the 40-60% range.

To be fair, I am writing down the requirements for every single mission so I can reference them on subsequent playthroughs. It helps when you know ahead of time who to send and how to build your team.

As for Episode 3, all you have to do is send specific duos out early in order to get the sabotages out of the way. Following that, Malevola's healing self-buff and Punch-Up's inability to be injured go a long way to keeping your squad moving. So long as you appropriately rotate duos who have already been sabotaged once, you don't have to worry about anyone cutting you down to a single character on a mission you actually needed two for.
