It would be better if sliverhand wasn't in it. I said it I hate that faggot his quests make the game less fun to play the best parts of the game don't have cutscenes. Also you should be able to fight the robot when you give songbird what she deserves.

There's two angles to approach C2077 from
>it's not the Cyberpunk RPG of my dreams, and that is very disappointing
>it's like three times better than GTA or Fallout 4

He's a perfectly fine character. He's written to be flawed, and the game gives you the wiggle room to decide if he's your bro, or an annoying commie terrorist hitching a ride in your brain.
Anonymous No.725186151 [Report]
>>725185784
Agreed. It should've been a more simulation, systems driven game. Instead, half of it is listening to unlikable cunts babble on about stupid shit with some of the worst writing since RDR2, and vapid cinematic QTE trash. It's a game where its mechanical depth is an illusion, but hey, the guy that got fucked by Christian is in it!
Anonymous No.725186372 [Report] >>725186554
I don't hate Johnny as a character but I do hate the fact it's more of a movie than a game, and some cutscenes and sequences are FUCKING UNSKIPPABLE. I was doing a second playthrough but dropped it fairly quickly when I realized there's not really a lot of variation in dialogues (almost none) and missions (only occasionally). It SHOULD'VE been "like Cyberpunk GTA" but instead it's an "action-packed story-driven narrative experience", as marketer faggots love to say, and that's why I hate it. Still worth pirating and beating once I'd say.

No, it's bad. Like 3/10 bad.
Never mind it took them over 2 years to fix the game and it's still ass.

I like it more than GTA. specifically because I actually care about the story and the characters in this game.
GTA is just poopy jokes, and ""satire"".

I'm not comparing the story (which I felt fits the universe pretty well) to GTA's, I'm comparing the fact that you have a lot of freeform activities in GTA's and only several of them in CP. I wish CP was more of an immersive sim where you choose the way you play the mission instead of having fixed ways to achieve objectives.

Don't abbreviate Cyberpunk to CP...

Is it just me or does this game feel completely uninspired, sterile and soulless?
Everything just feels too clean while the mechanics themselves feel half assed. I don't care much for the characters either.
Massive step down from the Witcher's story and the gameplay is just meh but then again CDPR isn't known for their stellar gameplay.

disappointing lack of interiors, and the city doesn't feel bustling enough. Play any Yakuza, and then play this.
Speaking of, they should make a cyberpunk Yakuza spinoff.

It feels like it doesn't really excel in any niche that the game explores. If it had gone all in on enemy AI and map interactivity to be a hackerman stealth game or massively pumped up the enemy/weapon variety and mobility tools and been a more dedicated combat shooter I would have enjoyed it more. instead it does neither of these things particularly well. Instead it's just a really good Far Cry game without any if Ubisift's gritting intruding on my gameplay. Which is nice but not mind blowing.

If they did it again I'd like a more established character and a focus on combat and gunplay, plus way more city interactivity.

It's not even that. Just the whole atmosphere feels off. It didn't pull me in like games like Mass Effect of New Vegas did (and New Vegas isn't exactly bustling).
>yakuza
Why you idiots still play the same game they've been making since the 1st one is beyond me.
Anonymous No.725187601 [Report]
The worst thing Cyberpunk did was making all the implants basically inventory slots. You can't even replace your arms with chromed ones. Fucking travesty.

It's too safe and generic. Nothing stands out. It's just a massive pile of shitty mediocrity and just does a lot of things straight up worst 15+ year old games do better.

Yakuza captures the sense of being in a bustling city environment with stuff happening on ever street corner way better, because it's small and concise.
I don't care if you like the games or not. Wasn't the question.

Also could gave done more of a squad focused thing. The game teases you with these characters which feel like they should be used to build up the typical "Cyberpunk team" more common in the setting but instead it's just V the whole time.

One thing cyberpunk games never really get right, is the the protagonist in cyberpunk stories tends to be a hacker, as opposed to a thug or a mercenary.
If anything, you should be jacking into the brains of other people to do combat, rather than leveling up your guns skill and looting assault rifles.
If you make GTA or Farcry with robots, you get just that. You don't get Neuromancer.
Anonymous No.725187949 [Report]
>>725187786
That's half true. The super archtypical Cyberpunk protag is a hackerman but you can do Solos. The main thing is that they're not supposed to overlap. You do one or the other

That's because the game doesn't have tools to let you do the stuff yourself so it needs to be a cutscene. Because they didn't pick a lane.
