The issue I have, and feel free to correct me if this is just a me issue, we retired the characters that we cared about, that were tied to these races. The krogan were represented by Wrex and Grunt and I like them, so I was invested in the krogan, but now they are gone. I had some passing interest in the Asari due to Samara mostly, but I don't think they handled them well, and glassing Thessia, on which I spent all of 30 minutes on, fighting Cerberus, doesn't really make me care more. And I never cared for Garrus or Tali much, so I have no interest in Turians or Quarians, especially the Quarians. So if Bioware wants to do a Tour of the Milky Way and go through every faction's issues, they're gonna need to present new characters that are representative of their races, and I need to like them to care. From my understanding, that's how writing works, when you want to get people to care for fiction. I haven't liked a single character Bioware introduced since DA2. What are the chances of them achieving it now? Realistically, I expect them to introduce a new cast, I expect to not give a fuck about them. But also, if I skip the game, I know nothing really is going to matter in the long run, because Bioware can't do choices either. So what does one do in such a case?
