Anyone who thinks it'll flop is a retard, the real question is, will it be any good? Pokémon has shown us that these huge IP's can be insanely successful while pumping out low quality 6/10's simply because of brand loyalty.
>inb4 that one fag that shows up saying it's a 10/10 masterpiece, we get it you're bisexual but enough. The game is a 8/10. It's solid but it's no masterpiece, cope and seethe all you like.

It will be shit because the overwhelming majority of the dev team do exactly that outside of their office. The funniest part is the English/NY devs complaining on exit forums about being berated for not knowing Hindi and having requests ignored.

If these leaks are true >>725187612, then it will likely underperform, and will lose its legs after a record smashing opening week.
Rewrites are the kiss of death. That is, unless, they're still capable of working miracles over in edinburgh.

I actually think it will be good. There might be some annoying dialogue but they've had that in their games since IV.
They've spent billions on this, i don't think they're sacrificing quality control to stiff several hundred thousand so they can hire jeet coders as the lead devs.

Difference is that Pokemon has been doing that practically since its inception.

You can also ask the question "Will it outsell GTA V"?
GTA V has actually sold more copies than there are even consoles out than can run GTA VI. So GTA VI isn't even going to be the most successful GTA game for at least some while. The question of if it will eventually surpass GTA V in sales is going to boil down to whether the game ends up being a massive disappointment or not. It's going to sell shit load no matter what. Way too many people are going to be day one buyers. But if it turns out to be a disappointment then that is probably going to hold the sales back in the long run.

because it has no negative effect on gameplay. It could be interesting if a game actually did that though. The game gets harder as your chronic disease gets worse.

My concern that is Dan Houser and the other guys that gave us anything good are gone now, only Sam Houser remains of the Rockstar of the past, that's my worry. I hope Sam knows what he's doing.

GTA V sold well with the online being in a completely broken state for like 3 months. I'm fairly certain they want gta 6 online to be as fleshed out as current gta 5 is now, if not more so. Since the game was developed with a heavy focus on online in mind. They had no idea how much money they were going to get from it.

No you can't, Rockstar hired all pink haired trannies and liberals who have bad work ethic and they had trouble getting these people to come back to work as late as 2024 following covid. Their workers are like those girls who make those tik toks about their snowflake lives working at google or other tech companies. All these workers are lazy and entitled.

Man, that is so depressing. RD2 is worse than the first game, and that one isn't one of the best games of all time. Gamers are fucking chumps.

It will be flop and be shitty, because my opinion is anything that doesn't make some arbitrary amount in profit is a flop, and anything that I don't like is shitty.

I've been saying they'll delay it again for months, and the reason is the same reason GTA 5 sold so well. Because they released it on PS3 and 360 in the last year of their life, then re-released it on PS4 and Xbone a year later, then PC a year after that. So you ended up having people double, some even triple dipping on the game. They are 100% going to do that with GTA 6. It would be stupid for them not to try to replicate that.
