I like DisplacedGamers and Retro Game Mechanics Explained, as they go into actual technical detail about the game mechanics they're discussing complete with assembly breakdowns. It's refreshing to see people that back up what they're talking about with real data, as opposed to all the content farming channels that discuss speedrunning tech or whatever and are clearly just parroting shit with explanations like "and for some reason this confuses the game".

Autistic about RTS games, and will spend the better part of an hour explaining the responsive of unit actions and commands, or even the general hit box of a unit in relation to the map terrain and other unit hit boxes before even considering the AI he's using as a test bed.
