the problem with VAs is they think it's a career choice like being a plumber or some shit. they don't seem to quite grasp that they're 100% dependent on other people making and writing things for them to voice, and those are really expensive and time consuming and require actual work, so there's only so many of them being made at one time, which is why VA is not a job. VA is a gig. if you want a job in VA you need to become one of those anti-union cunts like troy baker so you can monopolize all the roles for yourself because otherwise there's no 'job', you were just some faggot who read some lines and now you need a real job.
so a dozen or so reliable VAs totally lock down 'the industry' so they can eat, and all the other VAs need to find a way to boot them out and get their foot in. that's why prozd was bitching. he wanted more roles and needed a non-selfish way of phrasing his selfish needs - so he picked the race angle. the idea was 100% he'd continue to voice deep-voice old white men because that was his bread and butter, but now he'd get all the asian roles too due to social pressure. he wasn't smart enough to realise that he wasn't black so he can't just pull the race card and stick his fingers in his ears and go LALALALALALA YA'LL RACIST because everyone knows asians are too smart to actually believe that garbage.
