I have X coming in (used copy of course because I don’t support censorship). On a whim I popped in 1 and saw the last time I played it was 5 years ago during a replay. I’m up to the satorl swamp. Should I continue? I have no idea how the combat works half a decade later. Is it one of those games you can pick up like that again?

Satorl Marsh is like 10-20 hours into the game depending on how much side stuff you were doing.

I have under 20 hours. I can’t remember if it was 14 or 18 but around there, maybe 16.
Maybe if I beat x and still feel in a Xenoblade mood I’ll restart. I hate restarting games before beating them though.
