I was about to make the same post. I thought this was odd when I was playing TotK as well. Like don't even mention whatever half-breed hylian/zonai would exist from Rauru and Sonia, but there doesn't seem to be a child between Sonia and Rauru to begin with. Sonia died half a year after Zelda shows up, and Rauru sacrifices himself and becomes a ghost I assume at the end of the game because that's how he ended up with TotK.
So there's no child, how the fuck is Zelda even a descendant.
