I honestly don't know but if so valve is gonna have a lot of shit to deal with when the generation of gamers who grew up with steam are dying and hundreds of steam accounts worth hundreds of dollars are left without owners. Valve would be a very different company when this event arrives since Gabe will be long gone

Simplest solution seems like it would be to give the password and email to the most amicable family member and have them turn on family sharing for anyone who wants it.
