get a stiffer bed, it will make your back feel better I promise

Bitch I'm 36 and a few weeks ago I pulled a muscle in my back so bad that I could barely walk. Just getting out of bed and going to the toilet was a fucking ordeal.

Do some moderately intense walking for 45-60 min daily and taper an NSAID if the pain is intolerable and you should start to feel okay in a few weeks. 'Bridge' exercises and other low intensity lower back exercises are also pretty helpful. Also consider your posture and chair setup. Consider buying a mattress topper and high quality pillow. Good luck.

I was playing with this friend on Steam, I'm 31 and he's 33. We were playing for a few hours, and we were wrapping up, and he starts saying shit like "yeah haha I'm too tired being old sucks" and I just kept thinking to myself that's because you're an out of shape sack of shit and you don't get eat right. I'm in better shape than I was in my teens. It's not hard, you just have to give a shit.

Walking is one of the lowest impact exercises relative to spinal rehab benefits dude. I'm speaking from experience and clinical education. You don't even have to break a sweat, but you're going to doom yourself to a lifetime of pain because you didn't want to walk and listen to music/podcasts for an hour. It'll help your mental health too. Once you start to feel normal, you can taper to 15-30 minutes every other day. I'm trying to help you.

I feel healthier in my 30s than I ever did through my 20s. The 30s are so much fucking better than your 20s it's unreal.

>Owie, my back hurts from gaming for a few hours!
Where do you people come from and what do you do for a living?
My work includes a lot of manual labour and just yesterday I played Rogue Trader for the entire day whilst being hungover. Slept soundly afterwards and woke up today feeling fine. I'm 32 pushing 33.

Getting old is basically when you get injured like sprained wrist it'll take a few weeks before the pain starts to subside

Manual labor can be better than a desk job for keeping limber.
