The Mushroom Kingdom is nothing more then just cool looking levels anon, I mean there's a reason why in the first movie them traveling the world was just a montage, there's no cool story level in World. As for Sunshine everyone hates the story bits that are in there causevfuck those tree motherfuckes. Galaxy is the only one that has like actual story moments that can translate to film without issue. Plus they set up Peach being a star child in the first movie so they're probably gonna have a pay off for that.

Toadsworth's last original appearance was in Mario & Luigi Dream Team, back in 2013.

That's what I implied or struggled to say. Comic Peach in that pic had some elements of being more headstrong which is better than the 2000's sanitized Peach most of the time (some rpg's and sports game like Charged gave her more of that Nozawa/SMRPG Peach personality) but she was still feminine and relied on Mario. Nu-Peach in the movie still relied on Mario at the end somewhat but it wasn't as light hearted with her as the comic.
