All of them. Five playthroughs cause they're all fun.

Wouldve loved the game 10x better if there was a traditional belt scroller mode. Where all the levels are strung up, you get 3 lives, no continues

Plays more like your doing a diablo 2 baal run and all the excessive clicking kinda ruins the gameplay or rather interferes

Dwarf whenever possible, easily the most fun character

Seems like only the Wizard and Sorceress are more similar than different, I'd still do a Wizard playthrough after my current Sorc one cause magic is such a different gameplay style.
The Fighter gameplay is very different from normal beat em ups. I don't think he's supposed to move horizontally that much, instead he can fly to the top of the screen then slam back down, and just do that repeatedly, which in a way it's like he's still always right in front of the enemies, it's just using space in a different way. Not my thing though, magic is more fun.

I made the mistake of starting with Amazon, because she is so good and fun, all the other characters felt boring in comparation.

Dorf. Only character to not be gimped by using his weapon smash as well. Can still throw guys all over the place and beat their faces in with frenzy fists.

Loved Odin Sphere and Muramasa, even though I like the theming of Dragon's Crown even more than those two I was never really able to get into it enough to play it all the way through. The action just looks kind of messy and I can't really even make out what's going on onscreen enough to be engaged, it feels like I'm just mashing buttons and hoping I'm getting damage in. Also this game is too niche to have been designed around co-op, my friends are normies who just play Fifa and Counter Strike, I wasn't about to bring this arthouse goonfest to the function

Just finished a replay with the Amazon on PS4, the same character I originally beat the game with on Vita (means life). I wish I could get into Elf but it feels like everyone has that one class they gel with and for me its the spintowin lady.

Bow and arrow is petty powerful, just need to keep up with your arrows. Also can spec into backstab with the holdout dagger for a lot of a damage.

Elf got a lot of hate on release because people would just kick all over the place as the elf instead of play bow and arrow/back stab dagger since it's kicking is brain dead (and not really that effective).

I'll do the optional content if it's fun, you have to repeat the same levels a lot to get to lvl100 so I might feel like starting a different class. Depends how the difficulty changes the game.

Started playing Sorceress for the coom, stuck around for the fun. I actually prefer pure offensive casters normally, but Wizard feels a bit one-note by comparison.
Also, where the FUCK is the Switch/Switch 2 port, or better yet, remake with some additional content. This game not being available on a good handheld is a travesty.
