i remember watching this trailer and thinking it looked cool, watched one video and i had seen everything there is to do and the entire map.
the trailer really did the heavy lifting.

No I have shit game fatigue. Games I can play with friends aren't bad, games that purposely market itself as a game for friends that are shit is bad.
I get why they do it though.

Sell a good solo game and you only get possibly half of a friend group to buy it. Create a shit multiplayer game and now you've got everyone in the group buying the game at the same time. Even if they don't all buy it individually, you get people buying their friends the game. You get more people buying the game total and people who wasn't going to buy it, have it brought for them.
