Hold F to get chunips to follow you again.
Attacking things fills up a white gauge. When the gauge is filled, hold E to pick up a chunip, and hold left-click to start plapping it. It'll eventually explode and multiply into more chunips of the same type.
You can also press Space while holding a chunip to swap to another type.
There's basic cubes floating around that don't fight back, and a big dog head enemy that does. Don't think there's much else to it.

It's kind of like a diet PSO/PSO2 with some elements of MMOs like side quests being collecting monster butts for EXP. Character creator is still very competent if you don't want to make a hamplanet. After gifting it to a friend last year, he loved what he played of it alone, but was a little disappointed in that it was only two dungeons (with multiple tiered brackets) and one odd side area.
