played a fuck ton of this subpar shit game that is somehow fun on my first job
this was installed on all PCs at my office and I worked the night shift so we used to play this and our own RO server nonstop

why remaster 2? it looks exactly like sacred 2, there was no need to remaster it
also gameplay wise I think 1 is better

I was playing it just fine a couple months ago with the fan patches.
Sacred 2 is kinda mid... Derivative, boring, repetitive, unoriginal.
Sacred 1 was so much better. I really think it was lightning in a bottle for that studio.

I bought the CE and played it for around 30-40 hours with my dad before dropping it. It was fun, but didn't really have any staying power. Also, the aesthetics of 1 were loads better.

hmm...kinda? the factions are really weird and sacred 1 informs you of what they represent

like one faction are literally space alien angels with laser guns, and one faction are demonic necromancers that summon demons and corpses

just read the wiki or something, the first game is really cool but definitely oldschool
