Didn't even play it, just watched a bunch of scenes on YouTube. But basically the entire Internet took a massive shit on it and it soured the series for me. Like, what's the point, DA:O was just a prelude to... that.

If I don't engage in woke and faggy shit, if I filter all that bullshit, is the new Dragon Age fun? I enjoyed the first two games, IIRC the second game already had gay shit in it. I don't remember Inquisition much, but it was playable and mildly fun.

I guess I can understand. I only played Origins but seeing what became if it stops me from even playing 2. Origins stands well enough on it's own anyway.
Mass effect did go a little sour for me, though I did enjoy playing 3 and andromeda, but not for the story.
What disappiointed me the most is the lack of carry over of choices that have any impact besides flavor text or dialogue.

It's the most 7/10 game ever if you disregard the woke cringe shit. It's just... Fine, in most categories. Nothing terribly exciting, no real interesting choices, companions are largely lame as hell. Combat is ok, it's decently pretty and questing around can be fun enough. Worth a pirate until you get bored, imho.

Veilguard has better gameplay than most of the dragon age games, which isn't saying much because only Origins is good. Most of its failings come from the god awful writing. Its not just woke shit, its a complete tonal clash. Its frustrating because at times you can see the vision and theres legitimately interesting things happening, but then you get some shitty quip while walking over the corpses of civilians and just resign yourself to the fact that its impossible for it to be good. Also pretty much everything revolving around the circumstances of the protagonist is kind of absurd and immersion breaking.

Yeah, dialogue options in biowareschlop were always shit.

There's a scene in Origins where a concerned female NPC tells the protagonist that the invading army is closing in and they will rape and pillage, to which you can respond with "you won't enjoy it but they will". It's insane how 15 years ago was basically a completely different timeline.
