It was a fun time. Was disappointed to learn there was a halfling werewolf companion who was cut during development though. The lack of a short race party member (halfling/gnome/dwarf or even a goblin for the evil path) was one of my biggest gripes.

I'll never get foehammer mostly because I dislike the notion of playing an ironman save. Honor mode is pretty neat (at least when the honor mode feat isn't just shit like "melee explodes if they hit this bozo") so I'm quite happy to just play it via a custom rules save with the ironman stuff turned off.

The granular detail and constant unique interactions in Act 3 are not even remotely comparable to the barren wasteland that is starfield. Shut up.

I wish the game had more companions. The base roster is way too small, it doesn't even cover each of the base classes. BG1 had a ton of companions but most of them were shallow. BG3 went too far in the other direction and they know it, otherwise hirelings wouldn't exist.

One of my favorite RPGs of all time, yes.
