Here is the truth:

I'm at 376 and I mostly agree. A lot of the time was from before DoN, and I stopped midway through 4 cause other stuff came out (Silksong). I managed to beat ED Libra on 3 and then ED Gladius on 4, at least. Maybe I'll just commit to reaching 5, I've only lost one game from 1-4 and everyone was saying 5 is barely different than 4 so if I committed to it I could, but all my friends are still D3. I've also never ever gotten those wacky events like hidden nightlord or hidden POIs. Game only has like 20 seeds for each lord on the normal map and then 5 for the shifting earths.

Fromsoft is a fucking huge studio now, anon. They have at least 3 other projects in development right now. Nightreign is just something that they can use to train new staff, and shit out on a shoestring budget since the overwhelming majority of the labour is in recycling content.

To my recollection ARC actually does work but it doesn't work in the same way as base-game Elden Ring. It much more affects status build-ups (all of them; poison, rot, frost, bleed, madness, sleep) as a simplified version of its ER functions, which mostly means that Executor is still the only guy that really gets use out of it because he'll get easier Bleed procs than any other character
