It was above minimum in Idaho when I worked doing game testing. $10 starting which is $2.75 above our minimum of $7.25. It was also easy as fuck and work from home, got promoted real quick too, though as a team lead it was only $18.00 an hour which is pretty solidly under what other testing contractor companies would have paid for the position and the amount of time working there. They also kept avoiding doing year end evaluations because they included in contracts that if you had a positive evaluation you'd get a pay raise.
