There's not really any good ones I think. Pasa and Mayano give you a small amount of Acceleration and a tiny Target Speed buff. Spe is the opposite. Halo and Brian give the most Target Speed but they both have pre-conditions and Halo's only activates 200m away from the finish so if you're not close to the front you lose anyway. Red Shift sucks on this track. Shooting also sucks if you're not Taiki due to the reduced duration from inheritance meaning you have less of a chance to carry it into the last spurt.

If I had to guess, it's because you have too many speed cards. Having one more wit or friend would allow you to essentially take more turns without resting for the first half/two-thirds of the career to focus on bubbles to ramp training nodes. Rice career is hard af though compared to others so theres a lot of issues that occur along the way.

It's probably not enough stamina. It's not that she's bad, but more works as a debuffer. Nobody knows the exact requirements right now so that she doesnt gas, but it seems hard to manage while also having enough speed not to get passed. So far I havent seen one that hasnt gassed.

My experiences so far in the Unity Cup suggest that 3 speed, 1 wit, 1 Riko, and 1 whatever (usually power) is the way to go. Does that seem good?

I would say thats the most consistent "base" deck, you can switch out the power for another wit or cut down on speed cards too. All depends on the uma. For sure its 2 speed, 1 riko, 1 wit, 2 flex

I've tried 2 speed and it is fucking hard.

With 3 speed, 2 wit, 1 riko I've done pretty well. At the end of the banner I'll be able to spark and get my Rice to 1LB. She seems pretty good as your one power card if you go 3 speed 1 power 1 wit 1 riko.

2 speed, 2 wit, 1 power 1 riko might work too.

Wish I had more TP for more runs because I want to keep experimenting. Just remember you can still get fucked by RNG so if it doesn't line up perfectly the first time it's not really conclusive.

3 speed 2 wit 1 riko gave me 1200/1000 consistently in Unity, but i'm aiming for 1200/1200 which honestly felt "easier" to do in URA, but still required a shit ton of luck. At least more straightforward to do. I'm getting closer in Unity.

Kinda, yeah. She restores a lot of Energy in her dates, but only the first 3 do that. She doesn't give you a lot of stats since she's not a Scenario Link card, but she gives a lot of skill points which you tend to be hurting for in Unity. And she has Training Effectiveness like the others plus a lot of Energy Cost Reduction for training with her. If you're only using Riko or Tazuna for the Energy gains, you can try her and see if it works for you

Marvelous is probably the most universal wit SR, the skill hints are always relevant and her events are good.
I've used the Daiwa SR several times thos week, she's pretty good as well.
Otherwise I've had to slot in SSR Natie for lates, but the one I have is at 0LB (I'm an eternal Kitalet so the borrow has to go to her).
Someday I'll try out SR Dober since I have her at MLB, and the way my free pulls have been going I'll probably have MLB Ardan by the end of the week.

My best run by far had been the one where I literally just ran an URA deck. I mean just look at the difference. It's insane. The only positive is that technically I can do infinite runs because I can use my own parents. I know none of these stupid ass Wit and Riko and whatever else decks work for me. I'm a huge sucker for wizard/witch/magician/etc. characters in pretty much any game. Also she's been surprisingly endearing in her support card events and the summer event story. Also doesn't hurt that she's an end closer, which has become my favourite running style out of the four.

I got a Air Shukar SSR and a duplicate Rice Shower. I am disinclined to ever pay money for carats again, especially now that it's 20 fucking bucks for a 10 roll. I have a nice paycheck, but not nice enough to justify literally throwing money down the drain on gacha rolls.

Beyond that my current block isn't the trainees or even cards I have available, it is simply a lack of time to be able to properly farm parents. You can have a decked out MLB deck, it doesn't increase your chances of getting the sparks you need at all.

Even in JP a deck of 5 SSRs only has 30-50% chance to finish, different chance for each scenario due to some scenario events occupy the support card event slot. And that's the biggest RNG in JP now that neither godly parents nor whale decks can help.
